Mazar-i-Sharif (Mazare Sharif) is located in 400km north-west of Kabul. It's a city containing the important mosque "Mazar-i Sharif", also known als the Blue Mosque. Annual it attracts a lot of muslim pilgrims. It is very important for the muslim people, it's honored as the tomb of Imam Ali, the cousin of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH). Thats what the "Sjéitisch" people say, Sunit people are claiming that the tomb is located in Iraq.
